Kornfest Parade Entries

Dear Prospective Parade Entrants:

The Holmen Lions Club is sponsoring its 28th Annual Kornfest Parade on Saturday, August 21st at 11:00 am. We would be pleased to have your entry in our parade and extend this invitation to you to participate subject to the attached Rules, Procedures and Fees.

Please complete and return the application with your entry fee no later than August 9th, 2010. No entries will be accepted after this date. All applicants are approved solely at the discretion of the Kornfest Parade Committee. The lineup will appear on our website www.holmenlions.org and also in the Holmen Courier on Friday August 13th (lineup subject to change). Please do not call for your number in line in advance of this notification. Do not wait to send in your entry as the total number of participants will be limited to 140.

Because we section off neighborhood streets for the parade lineup we need to know the total length of your float and your tow vehicle. It is important that we do not block the driveways of Holmen residents who have graciously allowed us access for staging.

With your participation, we can be assured of another successful and enjoyable Kornfest Parade in 2010. We are looking forward to you joining us on August 21st!

P.S.  Do not throw candy from your vehicle.  Have someone walk alongside your entry to distribute candy and marketing materials.  Let’s make this a safe and happy parade!
